CONCORD (KPIX 5) -- A freeway shooting in Concord left one man wounded and prompted the shutdown of all southbound lanes on Highway 242, Saturday afternoon.

Police said the suspect may have been driving a silver SUV.

Police shut down the highway between Grant Avenue and Concord Avenue exits for about 2 hours. There are reports that shell casings were on the road. The road was reopened around 6 p.m.
