Protesters March Against Police Killing In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A large gathering and march to protest a police killing of a suspect was underway in downtown San Francisco Friday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, high school students were urged to walk out of class and march to San Francisco City Hall to protest the killing of Mario Woods last week. Woods was suspected in a stabbing when he was gunned down by a number of San Francisco police officers on December.

Following the gathering at City Hall, the number of protesters appeared to grow and participants marched again to Union Square.
