All lanes of the connector opened at 11:30 a.m., CHP officials said.

Friday morning's crash was the second major incident impacting commuters who travel on the Bay Bridge from the East Bay. Shortly before 4:00 a.m., a drywall spill on Westbound Interstate 80 at Fremont Street in San Francisco led to a massive traffic jam on the Bay Bridge that extended to the Toll Plaza.
