Police Find Heroin, Meth, Scales & Gun In Vacaville Home; Couple Arrested

VACAVILLE (CBS SF) -- Police arrested a man and a woman Tuesday afternoon in Vacaville on suspicion of offenses such as possession of drugs for sale and child endangerment, police said Wednesday.

A SWAT team and other personnel served a search warrant at 4:51 p.m. at an apartment in the 100 block of Aegean Way.

Officers arrested Vacaville residents Sean Kennedy, 27, and Mariah Tipton, 22, for offenses involving the sale of heroin, according to police.

A 3-year-old child lives with the couple. The child was with relatives when officers searched the home, police said.

Officers found about three ounces of heroin, methamphetamine, a loaded .22 caliber revolver, marijuana, scales, packing materials and payment sheets.

Police said the couple allegedly fortified their home to prevent officers from entering.

The two were booked into Solano County Jail, according to police.
