NFL Outlines Heightened Security Policies At Levi's For Super Bowl 50

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- The NFL has released information for fans attending Super Bowl 50 to outline what items will be permitted and not permitted at Levi's Stadium this Sunday.

The security screening at the stadium will be significantly heightened for Super Bowl 50.

For fans who have attended NFL games (at Levi's Stadium and elsewhere), the policy specifying the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums for regular season games will also apply to the Super Bowl. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses or bags larger than 4.5" x 6.5", coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags/draw string bags that are not clear or exceed 12" x 6" x 12", luggage of any kind, computer bags, binocular cases and camera bags, and large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments or covers.
