Commercial Crab Season To Remain Closed, State Officials Announce
BODEGA BAY (CBS SF) -- State officials have just decided that commercial crab season will remain closed due to concerns over safety.
The call was made with feedback from the industry.
The officials decided it will be better to wait until the entire state is given the all clear, or at least until it can be cleared to the Mendocino-Sonoma County line.
The concern has been dangerous levels of domoic acid in the crabs.
