'Hunger Games' Costumes, Props On Display In San Francisco's Palace Of Fine Arts

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Costumes from the Hunger Games movies are on display in San Francisco's Palace Of Fine Arts.

The traveling exhibition based on the blockbuster franchise is being shown in a 15,000 square-foot area, with more than 40 costumes, and various props from the films.

18 year old Stephanie Jorgensen flew out with her mother from Minnesota to see the exhibition.

"I read the books four times, and I fell in love with the movies, and the books. It was there for me when I was in a dark place, and really helped me get out of there. So, my life is very grateful to the Hunger Games," Jorgensen said.

Pieces on display include the Girl on Fire dress, the Mockingjay armor, and Katniss' bow and arrow.

"This display makes me want to go back and see the rest of the movies," Mike Moore said.

The cost is $22 for children and $27.50 for adults.
