Man Found Under BART Train At Hayward Station Dies

HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- A man who was found underneath a BART train near the Hayward station Saturday morning has died.

Police do not suspect foul play was involved in the fatal incident, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost said on Twitter at 1:38 p.m.

At around 9:30 a.m., BART police received a report of a person underneath a train near the Hayward BART station, according to police.

The person was taken to a hospital.

Around 9:45 a.m., BART officials briefly closed the station, resulting in a major delay on the Fremont line.
