Garbage Truck Slides 100 Feet Down Embankment In Calistoga; Driver Escapes Injury
CALISTOGA (CBS SF) -- The driver of a garbage truck escaped serious injury when he lost control, smashing through a guardrail and sliding about 100 feet down an embankment in Calistoga Sunday.
The accident happened off of Petrified Forest Road.
If the truck went down any further, it could have slammed into a house below.
Wet roads were likely the cause of the accident.
