Suspect Info In Fatal San Jose Cafe Shooting Released

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police released Monday a suspect description in a shooting that injured two men, one of whom died, in East San Jose on Friday night.

The suspect is described as a male standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot at Bon Mua Café at 1937 Tully Road shortly before 11 p.m., according to police.

Arriving officers found two men who were each suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicated the suspect went inside the business and shot at the victims multiple times before he fled, according to police.

The suspect was last seen wearing a hat, sweatshirt and pants, police said.

Both victims were transported to a hospital and one of them died a short time later, according to police.

The second victim was in stable condition as of Monday, police said.

The deceased victim will not be identified until his next of kin is notified, according to police.
