Missing Ex-Girlfriend Of Man Arrested In SF Raid Found Safe With Baby

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A woman and baby reported missing in San Francisco have been found.

San Francisco police say Dana Rinta and her 17-month-old daughter, Scarlett are safe and sound. A police spokesperson said the 23-year-old walked into a precinct and told them she was not missing. Authorities questioned her briefly before she left.

Rinta is the ex-girlfriend Stanislav Petrov, the man in a video getting beaten by Alameda County Sheriff's deputies, and arrested during a raid Friday.

Earlier police said Rinta had not been seen since March 14.

On Friday, the FBI raided the San Francisco home where her ex, Petrov and several others were staying.

It happened around 2 a.m. and several shots were fired outside the Visitation Valley complex.

Four people were arrested, including Petrov. He has had at least four other run-ins with the SFPD in March.

Police are being tight-lipped about why they raided the home and how Petrov is involved.

Saturday authorities released Rinta's photo and asked the public for help finding her. Police said they were concerned for her safety, and the safety of her daughter.
