Metallica Plays Live Show In Berkeley Record Store
BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- It wasn't exactly the kind of big concert venue Metallica is used to but the band still entertained a lot of fans on Saturday -- in person and online.
The Grammy Award-winning rockers performed a live show inside Rasputin Music in Berkeley and streamed it to their Facebook followers.

It was all an effort to benefit the ninth annual Record Store Day. Drummer Lars Ulrich said "independent record stores are part of Metallica's DNA."
Only contest-winners had tickets to get inside. Saturday's event was the third show Metallica has streamed for free this year.
