Milpitas Police Seek Suspect Who Punched Man Walking With Family

MILPITAS (CBS SF) -- Police in Milpitas on Tuesday were asking the public to help identify a suspect who punched a man walking with his family last month.

Police on Monday released a sketch of the suspect sought for the battery reported at about 2:55 p.m. on March 22 in the 1700 block of North Park Victoria Drive.

A 33-year-old man was walking with his family when a green four-door vehicle passed him. The vehicle then pulled over to the side of the road and the suspect got out of the passenger side of the car, police said.

The suspect confronted the victim by saying, "What's up man?" and then suddenly punched the victim in the face, according to police.

The suspect then went back to the vehicle, which fled north on North Park Victoria Drive.
