Man Found Dead At Apple Headquarters In Cupertino

CUPERTINO (CBS SF) – A man was found dead at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, authorities confirmed Wednesday morning.

According to Sgt. Andrea Urena of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, around 8:35 a.m. deputies received a call of person who was down at the tech giant's headquarters on 1 Infinite Loop. When deputies arrived, they found the man and declared him dead at the scene.

Urena said it was an "isolated incident;" no other individuals were involved and that they are not searching for any suspects.

"There's nobody else on campus or in the public that are at risk," Urena said.

The man worked at company headquarters, according to authorities, but his identity has not been released.

Urena did not specify where the man was found on the campus, located near Interstate 280 and De Anza Boulevard.

The case has been turned over to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office, who will determine the man's cause of death, Urena said.

Apple headquarters remained open Wednesday afternoon. The company has not issued a statement on the man's death.
