Take Part In Bike To Work Day
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Ride with tens of thousands of people across the Bay Area on Thursday, May 12 to cut down on pollution and inspire a critical mass for the 22ND annual Bike to Work Day.
More than one million Bay Area residents live within five miles of their workplace, an ideal distance for bicycling. If you're new to bike commuting, this an excellent time to start pedaling.
Bike To Work Resources:
The Bay Area Bicycle Coalition will be providing the following cool perks to cyclists:- 400 Energizer Stations, 26 in San Francisco alone! -- Volunteers will be there cheer on people riding bikes and provide free donated snacks, beverages and reusable tote bags filled with goodies.
- 11 Commuter Convoys -- Timid about riding in SF traffic? Join a Commuter Convoy from 11 different neighborhood in San Francisco,
- Bike To Work Signup Page -- Take the pledge to become a part of Bike To Work Day.
- Enjoy a Bike To Work Day Happy Hour at Public Bikes on Hayes Street.
- Volunteer to man an Energizer Station in Marin
