Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Gets A Hero's Welcome At Paul Simon Concert

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- If Warriors coach Steve Kerr tried thought he could walk incognito into the Paul Simon concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley Friday night, he was wrong.

Simon was halfway through his fifth number and the fans immediately recognized Kerr. They erupted into applause and a Roaracle style chant, "WARRIORS!"

The singer was totally cool about getting upstaged. Simon laughed and told the crowd he will do the same thing to Steph Curry when the MVP goes to shoot a three-pointer.

Meantime, Kerr made it to his seat, waved and proceeded to enjoy the music.

He was back in his usual courtside seat at Oracle on Sunday, for Game 2 against the Cavs.
