By The Numbers: Harrison Barnes Vanishes From NBA Finals

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – There was a time this season where there was talk that Golden State Warriors free agent forward Harrison Barnes may be in store for a max contract at the end of the season.

But his play in Games 5 & 6 have the appearance of veteran struggling to attract a minimum offer.

Barnes has all but vanished as a contributor to Golden State's efforts to close out the Cleveland Cavaliers and defend their NBA crown.

He is 2-for-22 from the field, 1-for-6 from the three-point line and has grabbed just 7 rebounds and dished out a single assist total in Game 5 & 6.

At times in Game 6, it appears the Cavs were happy to lure Barnes into taking a wide-open shot.

A look at his output shows a bearish decline.

During the regular season, Barnes strength was the midrange jumper.

A look at his playoff shot chart shows just how the mid-range jumper has disappeared.
