Listen To Rihanna's 'Sledgehammer' From 'Star Trek Beyond'

(RADIO.COM) – Last week, eagle-eyed fans noticed an iTunes Store ad teasing a Rihanna track called "Sledgehammer" from the Star Trek Beyond soundtrack. Now the song is officially here, and it's an earthy ballad fit for intergalactic turmoil. "Sledgehammer" appears in a new Star Trek Beyond teaser and is available to stream and purchase on major services.
The release comes soon after the tragic death of Anton Yelchin, whose "Star Trek family" endorsed the single as a bright spot through dark times. Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the rebooted franchise, wrote "after such an unimaginably sad week for our star trek family – @badgalriri brings some light into the darkness."
