Stephen Curry Surprises Kids At Hawaiian Basketball Camp

LAIE (CBS SF) – Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry gave some kids attending his weekend basketball camp in Hawaii a huge thrill when he paid a couple of rooms surprise visits.

The team posted video of Curry knocking on the doors of two rooms of camp attendees to the Warriors' Twitter account on July 4th.

"Selling girl scout cookies!" Curry says as he knocks on the first door.

A young boy wearing a red Under Armor sweatshirt opens the door and quickly has his jaw drop at the sight of the NBA MVP.

"What's going on my man? How you doin'?" Curry asks before the boy theatrically puts his hand to his chest and falls to the floor with a faux faint.

Curry laughs loudly before rushing in, yelling "Help him up! Help him up! Are you alright?" as he pulls the boy to his feet.

He goes on to meet the boy and his beaming camp roommates.

The second part of the clip shows Curry approaching a second door and posing as a pizza delivery-man.

"I've got Domino's Pizza," he says as the door is opened by three girls shocked by the identity of their visitor.

Curry then joins them in screaming hysterically and jumping up and down.

"How are you guys doing? You doing alright?" Curry asks after they stop screaming.

As the girls continue to stand giggling with shocked grins, he says Its like talking to a statue.

The kids were participating in a four-day/three-night basketball camp at the BYU-Hawaii campus in Laie on the island of Oahu. While Curry was scheduled to conduct lectures and demonstrate his workout routine to the campers, these kids got more direct interaction than they probably expected.

The camp cost $2,000-$2,250 for each camper, not including airfare.
