Lance Bass Will Host New Gay Dating Show 'Finding Prince Charming'

By Amanda Wicks

(RADIO.COM) – Move over, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, there's a new dating series in town, but this one offers viewers a more progressive view about love.

Finding Prince Charming will debut this fall on Logo with former *NSYNC member Lance Bass tapped to host the series (via The Hollywood Reporter). Similar to The Bachelor's set-up, Finding Prince Charming will follow 13 male suitors living in a house together while they compete to woo and win a bachelor.

The bachelor in question has not yet been named, nor have the suitors, but according to sources he will be "one of the nation's most eligible gay heartthrobs."

Logo, an LGBT-focused network, is excited to put their mark on a reality TV tradition typically involving heterosexual couples. Finding Prince Charming will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do," said Pamela Post, senior VP of Original Programming.

Bass came out in 2006 by way of a People cover story, and has since been an outspoken advocate for LGBT rights.
