Four Stabbed In Downtown San Jose Altercation

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Four people were hospitalized early Saturday, two with serious injuries, when a downtown San Jose altercation ended in a stabbing, authorities said.

San Jose Police said that around 1:20 a.m., an officer near South Almaden Boulevard and West San Carlos Street witnessed a disturbance.

When the officer made contacted the group, the officer discovered four people suffering from stab wounds.

Several suspects allegedly fled the scene the before the officer arrived. The suspects were not identified and no arrests have been made.

The four victims were hospitalized. Two suffered major injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
