1 Dog Dead In 2-Alarm Blaze At South San Jose Home
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Firefighters battled a 2-alarm house fire Sunday afternoon in South San Jose, rescuing two dogs in the effort.
The blaze was first reported around 12:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of Birch Grove Drive, the dispatcher said.
KPIX has learned that occupants of the home owned four dogs and that one of the animals was found dead and another was still missing, as of 2 p.m.
Firefighters have knocked down the fire.
No injuries were reported, according to the dispatcher.
