1 Person Injured By BB Gun Pellet Shot From Window In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- One person was injured by a BB gun pellet shot from a window in San Jose Monday morning, a police spokesman said.

Officers responded to a report of someone firing a BB gun from a window in the 1000 block of South Fifth Street between Martha and Keyes streets shortly after 9 a.m., police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.

A pellet struck one person, Garcia said.

Investigators haven't identified or arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting, he said.

No other details about the case were immediately available Monday morning.
