Fire Breaks Out In Vacant SoMa Building

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Firefighters have knocked down a two-alarm fire that was burning at a vacant four-story building in San Francisco Monday morning.

The fire was reported on Twitter at 5:06 a.m. as burning in the attic of a building at Minna and Sixth Streets.

Initially, firefighters said the fire was burning at 451 Minna St., however the correct location is 447 Minna St.

There is no information yet on what caused the fire and investigators remain on scene.

No injuries were reported, and fire officials are advising people to avoid the area.
