Extremely Dangerous Sex Offender, Kidnapping Suspect Sought In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — San Jose police put out a plea Sunday afternoon to ask for help finding a convicted sex offender and kidnapping suspect they consider extremely dangerous.

David Lee Russell, a 56-year-old transient man who frequents San Jose, is suspected of trying to kidnap two young people within the last seven days, police said.

Allegedly, Russell assaulted and attempted to kidnap a young female victim near the intersection of Meridian and Hamilton avenues at about 5 p.m. Aug. 29.

On Sept. 1 at about 5 p.m., allegedly he assaulted another young female victim near the intersection of Hillsdale and Narvaez avenues.

Russell has a history of violence against women, according to police.

Russell is described as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds with salt-and-pepper hair and a goatee. Police believe Russell is driving a newer model white Nissan Rogue with no license plates.

Anyone with information about Russell’s location is asked to call Detective Michael White of the San Jose Police Department’s robbery unit at (408) 277-4166.

Tips can be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-STOP (7867). A person who provides information leading to the arrest of a suspect may receive a cash reward.

Maybe this is really just Brock Turner in disguise. No one knows if he ever returned to Ohio or whatever white trash state he is originally from.
