Family Pleads For Help Finding Missing San Lorenzo Man

SAN LORENZO (CBS SF) -- Sheriff's deputies and family members were asking for help locating a 59-year-old black man from unincorporated Alameda County who has been missing since Thursday.

Kent Murray, who is 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black and gray hair, was last seen at about 7:30 a.m. at his home at 1173 Via Coralla in San Lorenzo.

He wears glasses and a short full gray beard.

Murray's family got concerned when he failed to pick up his children from school Thursday. None of Murray's family members or friends has heard from him since, sheriff's officials said.

Family members told deputies that it's unlike Murray to go somewhere without telling anyone.

Murray's bicycle is missing. He is known to use public transit.

Murray has his wallet and cellphone with him, but his cellphone is off.

Sheriff's officials did not have a description of what clothing Murray was wearing when he was last seen.
