Paris Jackson Call Out Cyber Bullies In Emotional Video

By Robyn Collins

(RADIO.COM) – Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, calls out cyberbullies in a series of emotional videos on Instagram Wednesday, September 14th, reports Popcrush.

“I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now,” Jackson began, in the now-deleted video. “I’ve tried sticking up for myself. I’ve tried the whole blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments. I’ve tried a lot of things. Ignoring it. But it’s hard… when there’s so much of it. And I don’t get why I’m such an easy target.”

Jackson went on, explaining that continued online bullying drove her to attempt suicide in 2013. “When I was 14 I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself,” she said [Jackson was actually 15 when she attempted suicide]. “And I took, like, a two-year break from social media and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did. And nothing changed!”

“I’m sorry if there’s something I’m doing that you guys don’t like, maybe I’m too public. I don’t know,” she continued. “I’m just tired of it. I’m just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I’m not the only one.”

Jackson referenced Justin Bieber‘s recent decision to delete his Instagram, after fans filled his feed with hateful comments about Sofia Richie. “Justin Bieber went into a downward spiral because everybody that he dates gets so much hate,” Jackson said.

“I have known his girlfriend, Sofia, since I was like 12 or 13. She’s one of the sweetest girls in the world and people are telling her to kill herself. I mean, we’re human beings, man. We got hearts and brains and feelings, and when you say damaging things like that to people, it f—- ’em up…and I don’t know if that’s what people want, but it’s exhausting.”

Jackson later deleted the vulnerable videos, but posted a photo shortly after of herself along with the caption, “looks like i’m the villain now. didn’t know defending myself was a crime. my dearest apologies. guess my careers over lolol.”
