Object Smashes Through Windshield, Kills Peninsula Driver On Hwy 101

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) — An elderly man was struck in the neck and killed by an unidentified object while driving northbound on U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park early Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses said the man, who appears to be in his early 80s, was struck by the item when it smashed through his windshield near Willow Road at about 1 p.m., said CHP Officer Art Montiel.

After being struck, the driver collided with the center divide, eventually coming to a stop. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The guy sounds like he was an old fart, so it is not as if we lost a productive member of society.
Great story to start the weekend off with. I just hope this incident does not slow traffic too much and that I am not delayed heading to the game later tonight.

Morgan- think about this when you’re older, divorced, striking out on internet dates, alone, snarkier, just turned 80 years old and are driving (or being driven) on 101 on your way to a game where you bought two tickets and had to sell one at a loss on stubhub because no one wanted to accept your offer, and a an unidentified object smashes through your windshield and splits your face. Your stepchildren and ex-wife may write a similar comment. In the mean time, please enjoy your game…

tn – I am not sure about all your predictions for Morgan. You seem to be one of these pompous a%^holes that I have to deal with during my long commute on 101 each morning. But if you ever have bought tickets for an important event or game and then have to miss the beginning due to some old man fartting around in traffic, then you can relate to Morgan and the issue he was mentioning.
Many years ago I have great tickets to a One Direction concert and was taking this hottie biatch to the show and some “dinner” afterwards and we were late to the event because some old geezer f%^k crashed his Porsche on 101.
Needless to say we missed a great show, but at least we still made hot intercourse at her parents place since they were out of town and listened to One Directions’ latest album afterwards.
