REDWOOD CITY (CBS SF) -- An 11-year-old boy who went missing from a Redwood City middle school on Friday afternoon has been found safe and is back with his family, police said Saturday.

David Mendoza had last been seen around 3 p.m. Friday at John F. Kennedy Middle School at 2521 Goodwin Ave., according to police.
