Fatal Collision Shuts Down Highway 12 In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Police have closed state Highway 12 in Fairfield Tuesday night due to multiple collisions, including one that turned fatal, and are asking drivers to avoid the area.

In a statement issued at 7:52 p.m., police said that Highway 12 is closed between Beck and Pennsylvania avenues, and drivers are being re-routed.
