(RADIO.COM) – Each election cycle, certain celebrities do their darndest to get their fans to the polls. For Katy Perry, this is a particularly important year: She performed at the Democratic National Convention and has actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton. As the presidential debate enters its final stretch, Perry has made a bid for our political activism in a collaboration with San Mateo-based “Funny or Die” and Rock the Vote. Her point: It doesn’t matter what you wear to the polls.
“This year, you can look like s— when you vote,” Perry begins. “I’ve briefly scanned the Constitution and nowhere does it say you can’t just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in.”
She then suggests a child’s onesie, a pair of briefs, an “XL t-shirt you got from the bank,” and more. Finally, Perry announced that she sleeps naked and arrived to her polling place in her birthday suit. It doesn’t go so well for her. Watch the funny clip here:
