YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (KCBS) – High country roads in Yosemite National Park are now closed down in preparation for the first storms of the season.

Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road were shut down Sunday night in advance of storms expected to roll in today.

Yosemite and northern Tulare County could get up to two inches of snow above 6,000 feet.

Rain and hail were reported in the northern Sacramento Valley on Sunday, along with a dusting of snow in the Sierra Nevada.
