Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong Meets Joan Jett In 'Ordinary World' Clip

(RADIO.COM) – Billie Joe Armstrong may be a self assured frontman in real life but he plays a drastically different character in the upcoming film Ordinary World.

A new clip from the film shows the rocker portraying Perry, a 40-year-old has-been who tries to live a life of normalcy after his band's "indefinite hiatus." In the clip, Perry runs into an ex-girlfriend (Judy Greer) who just so happens to manage Joan Jett. As she introduces the two, things get uncomfortable when Perry mentions his mother-in-law is named Joan. Cue awkward pause.

"Have a good day, man," Jett responds as she walks away. "Say hi to your mother-in-law."
