(RADIO.COM) – Sammy Hagar brought out a fleet of rockers for the third night of his 69th birthday bash on Tuesday. The festivities were held at his famed Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Joining Hagar on stage were Jerry Cantrell, Vinnie Paul, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson as well as boxing legend, Oscar De La Hoya.
Fans were treated to a set list which included hits from Sammy’s solo years as well as songs from Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Van Halen and even a rendition of The Beatles “Helter Skelter” featuring Hagar, Cantrell, Bonham, Anthony and Johnson.
Hagar’s multi-day birthday bash concludes Thursday, October 13 with a secret lineup.
A short two hour flight from Las Angeles, Hagar made Cabo his home away from home in the early 1980s. Opened in 1990, the Cantina has played host to many of Hagar’s birthday parties.
Hagar will conclude his two-week run as a mentor for Team Adam (Levine) on NBC’s The Voice, October 17 and 18 during the show’s Battle Rounds.
