4 Youths Arrested On Suspicion Of Beating San Ramon Man Unconscious

SAN RAMON (BCN) -- Four people were arrested this week on suspicion of assaulting a male victim and causing multiple injuries to him last Friday night in San Ramon, police said.

Officers were dispatched at 11:55 p.m. to the area near Walt Disney Elementary School at 3250 Pine Valley Road on a report of a disturbance.

As police were on their way, the caller said four people were fighting in front of his home, according to police.

The victim told police that he went out to talk to four teenagers who were causing a disturbance on a school playground and on an access trail between Walt Disney Elementary School and Pebble Place.

The victim was talking with one of the suspects when another struck him in the head, then two or more of the suspects punched and kicked him, according to police.

Police said one suspect choked the victim until he was unconscious.

Officers arrived to find the victim bleeding from multiple cuts to his face and injuries to his body. He suffered a broken nose, a bruised kidney, a fractured cheekbone and several cuts and bruises.

On Tuesday morning, officers served a search warrant at a San Ramon home where they arrested 19-year-old Jordan Manibusan on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felony battery.

Manibusan was booked into the county jail in Martinez on $80,000 bail, according to police.

Also this morning, police arrested two 17-year-old San Ramon residents on suspicion of the same offenses as the two men, police said.

The youths are being held in the county youth detention center in Martinez.
