Suspect In Alleged Sexual Assault Of Disabled Teen In BART Bathroom ID'd

PITTSBURG (CBS SF) -- A man suspected of sexually assaulting a teenage boy with Down syndrome in a Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station restroom Saturday has been identified as 38-year-old Peter Gorlorwulu, according to a BART spokeswoman.

Gorlorwulu was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of sodomy with a victim under 16, oral copulation with a victim under 16 and committing a lewd act with a child, according to BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost.

BART officers received a report at about 9:50 p.m. that a man later identified as Gorlorwulu had followed the boy into the restroom. They located and arrested Gorlorwulu and took him to the county jail in Martinez, according to BART officials.

The boy was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo for an examination of possible sexual assault, police said.
