San Jose Armed Robbery Suspects Caught On Camera
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police in the South Bay have released surveillance video of a late August armed robbery of a San Jose convenience store in the hopes it will lead to tips.
San Jose police investigators said the two robbers hit a 7-Eleven store at 452 East Santa Clara Street at about 9 p.m. on August 29th.
They said an armed suspect showed the clerk a handgun and demanded cash while a second suspect stood by outside as a lookout.
Both suspects fled the scene on mountain bikes. They were last seen riding southbound on 11th. Street from Santa Clara Street.
The armed suspect is described as a Latino adult male, approximately 35-40 years old with black hair and a goatee. He was wearing black pants, a black jacket possibly with security guard patches, black shoes with white soles, tan gloves. He rode off on a silver-colored mountain bike.
The second suspect who kept watch is described as being of unknown race and age wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants. The suspect rode away on a possibly yellow mountain bike.
