Remember Pokémon GO? Now There Are 100 New Creatures To Catch

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Just when Pokémon GO die-hards thought they had caught them all, the makers of the app have added 100 new creatures and a bunch of new features to keep players in the game.

The once hugely popular app made headlines last summer when entranced players wandered onto private property, walked into manholes and bumped into trees trying to track down different Pokemon.

In just a month, the game boasted an estimated 10 million players and remains one of the most popular apps in history, but the numbers have dwindled since its auspicious start. Now it appears San Francisco-based Niantics, creators of the game, is trying to lure players back.

The new creatures are normal and legendary, and the new features include new ways to raise and train them. The game has also introduced new ways for players to battle and trade.

Silph Road, a network of Pokemon GO trainers, discovered the new species.

Pokémon fans can see them by clicking "Include Gen 2 Pokemon" and doing a sort by species number. The new ones start at 152.

Players can only see them for now. They can begin catching them after the next Pokémon GO update, which for now, the has not been announced.
