Neil Diamond Announces 50th Anniversary World Tour With South Bay Stop

(RADIO.COM) – Music legend Neil Diamond will celebrate his 50th anniversary as a performer with a world tour that launches April 7 in Fresno, California. So far, he has announced North American dates which run through August 12 in Los Angeles and he will reveal European dates soon.

Diamond is scheduled to make stops in major cities, including New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Dallas, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

American Express Card Members can purchase tickets for The 50 Year Anniversary World Tour before the general public, beginning December 5 at 10 a.m. through December 8 at 10:00 pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public December 9 at http://www.livenation.com.

Over a half-century, Diamond has sold over 125 million albums worldwide and has charted 37 Top 40 singles and 16 Top 10 albums both in the U.S. and abroad. A Grammy Award-winning artist, Diamond is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also won a Golden Globe Award and 2009's NARAS' MusiCares Person of the Year award. In 2011, Diamond received the Kennedy Center Honor for his lifetime of contributions to American culture.
