Oakland Police Find Victim Shot Dead In Car
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A person was shot and killed in a car Friday evening in Oakland, police said.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 8800 block of Hillside Street shortly after 5:30 p.m., police Officer John O'Reilly said.
Responding officers found a male victim fatally shot in a vehicle.
Homicide detectives were sent to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, according to O'Reilly.
No information on suspects or arrests was immediately available.
