SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) — The Fairmont San Francisco’s traditional gingerbread house is officially on display.

Each year the hotel lobby is transformed into a sweet spectacle.

The house stands 25 feet high, 35 feet feet wide, includes more than 10-thousand pieces of gingerbread and more than a ton of icing and candy.

The culinary team that created the gingerbread house spent 375 hours on it.

The giant gingerbread house will be on display until New Year’s Day.
