San Francisco loves getting all decked out for a party. In the past, city has shown support for local teams by gussying up in Warriors Blue and 49er Red. But this weekend’s Pride celebration proved more colors = more awesome.
Arnold Schwarzenegger channeled the Terminator for a snappy reply to an anti-gay marriage Facebook fan after he turned his profile photo rainbow for pride celebrations.
During an epic week in America that saw same sex couple gain equal rights to marriage on the eve of Pride weekend, and an epic week in music as the Grateful Dead play their final concerts with a show Saturday night and again Sunday at Levi’s Stadium, fans couldn’t help but embrace a rainbow over the concert as a sign of the late Jerry Garcia looking down on them, and celebrating pride.
Get ready to see a Pride Parade unlike any ever before.
This weekend’s big Pride Parade may be in San Francisco, but that didn’t stop Silicon Valley leaders from (digitally) waiving the rainbow flag in support of Friday’s Supreme Court ruling ending bans on same-sex marriage.
