Philip Rivers threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Malcom Floyd on the game’s third play from scrimmage, and the San Diego Chargers held on for a lackluster 13-6 victory against winless Oakland on Sunday, extending the Raiders’ losing streak to 16.
It never seems to end for the 2014 Oakland Raiders: They always have a ton of players on the official injury report each week. That’s not the primary reason the Silver & Black can’t win a game, of course, but it’s been a consistent theme this year for the last winless team in the NFL.
OAKLAND (CBS SF) – With three playoff teams from last year in the division, you had to know the Raiders were in for another long season, but did you really think you’d be planning your […]
The 2014 Oakland Raiders not only have yet to win a game this season, but they are also on pace to post the worst team rushing yards total since the NFL switched to 16-game seasons in 1978. That’s right: The Silver & Black can’t run the ball, and it’s killing their rookie quarterback’s chances to succeed.
It’s getting more and more difficult for the Raiders to hold their heads up.

There was almost nothing positive from the Raiders in their first blowout loss since interim coach Tony Sparano replaced the fired Dennis Allen after four games.
Not much changes for the Oakland Raiders these days: They keep losing games, and they can’t get healthy, either. With their talent level, the Silver & Black can ill afford to be injured. But now the last winless team in the NFL faces the high-scoring Denver Broncos at home, and the roster is banged up and bruised still.
In a move to lure the Oakland Raiders to San Antonio, former Mayor and Clinton Cabinet member Henry Cisneros is meeting with team owner Mark Davis on Friday, just four months after Davis toured the Alamodome and declared it suitable for play.
