Elizabeth Wenger is the traffic anchor for CBS 5 Eyewitness News Early Edition, seen weekday mornings from 4:30 -7am.
She is from Oakland and very excited to return to the Bay Area. Wenger graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and did her undergraduate work at the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Previous to joining CBS 5 she has worked as an Anchor/Reporter at WXII, WCIA and KTWO Television. She was also a News Director at KALX Radio. Wenger has also interned at The Center for Investigative Reporting, KFRC radio, KGO-TV and Senator Diane Feinstein’s Office.
