Emmy-nominated Kim Coyle is a reporter/anchor for KPIX 5 Sports. She joined the KPIX 5 Eyewitness News team in September, 2005, and has covered a wide array of sports stories on both local and national levels.
Kim covers the Bay Area sports teams and local sports features stories extensively, frequently filing reports from teams’ practice sessions and conducting live interviews with players. In Summer 2006, Kim enjoyed her first season as the sideline reporter of the 49ers’ pre-season broadcasts on KPIX 5 and is also a reporter for the station’s “49er Preview,” “The 5th Quarter,” and Sunday night’s top-rated “Gameday.”
Kim has also been a correspondent for the NFL Network. Prior to her arrival in San Francisco, Kim covered the sidelines for “The NFL on Fox” game telecasts while working for the CBS and Fox affiliates in Jacksonville, Florida. Kim loves to receive story ideas.
