Kim was seemingly born with an RCA transistor radio glued to her ear. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would wind up working alongside many of the legends of the business. Before arriving at KCBS, Kim would work at KYA, KSFO, KNBR and KFOG. In Portland she was known as a disc jockey at the legendary KINK-FM and later at KRVO. In her 20+ year career she has worn many hats (but also likes scarves). Kim crash landed into the traffic anchor chair at KCBS in 2005 and has had difficulty sleeping ever since.
She thanks her lucky stars that she can count her anchor team of Stan Bunger and Susan Leigh Taylor among her friends.
When not waiting for the alarm to go off, Kim enjoys daily hikes around the Bay Area with her scruffy companions, Petey, the spotted one and Gilly, the nosey one. She is rumoured to be married to a member of the great radio fraternity that does not work at the #1 station in the Bay Area. She also enjoys making loud noises with her band, The Flywheels.
