Emmy Award winning radio & TV personality Liam Mayclem is best known as the host of EYE ON THE BAY on KPIX 5 and as “The Foodie Chap” celebrating our home grown culinary stars (daily on KCBS). He will soon be seen on the TRAVEL CHANNEL show – “WORLD ACCESS” (FALL 2015).
Every year Liam as Foodie Chap hosts the main stage at EAT DRINK SF – a gathering for our food fans. Liam also hosts the culinary stage at BOTTLE ROCK NAPA VALLEY. This year he made sushi with CHEF MORIMOTO & SNOOP DOG, tasted fried chicken made by FLAVA FLAV and enjoyed nitrus cocktails concocted by CHEF DOMINIQUE CRENN.
Says Liam: “Ths is one of the highlights of my year, pairing rock stars with rock star chefs, It’s an explosive, unpredictable guaranteed recipe for foodie fun.” The crowd of thousands would agree.
The Foodie Chap can also be seen hosting PLATED:a LIVE chef demo series (May – September) and various cellar events at MACY’s Union Square with culinary stars.
Liam hosts an annual FOODIE CRUISE with CRYSTAL CRUISES taking his foodie followers to places all over:
Asia, Europe, Meditaerranean and beyond.
Known for his “English pipes” Liam endorses and is the voice of; INFINITI – Bay Area, The Bay Club and JUMPSTARTmd to name just a few.
In his spare time Liam enjoys live concerts and theater, dining out and venturing outdoors and exploring the Bay Area and beyond.
He is also a keen fundraiser and has a few favorite charities and organizations:
Family House, Food runners, Project Open Hand, SF & Marin Food Bank. The Northern California Cancer Center, Raphael House and SF CASA.
