Hello!!! Her mom was born in Mexico City but was of Swedish and German ancestry and her father was American. That doesn’t make her Mexican-American

Huh? Hello!!! Jessica Alba’a father is of Mexican and Spanish ancestry, thus making her MEXICAN-AMERICAN. I am part Mexican, but my parents and myself were both born in the United States. Does their being American mean I am not a Mexican-American as well? “American” isn’t a race, it’s a nationality. Her father being “American” doesn’t mean the man still isn’t Mexican.

Angela, you’re the one who doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Kimloan is not talking about Jessia Alba, she’s talking about Uma Thurman whose mother is only Mexican by nationality not by ethnicity. Her mother was an actress who happened to be born in Mexico City but had German and Swedish parents.

If she’s talking about Uma Thurman, then the only reason I can see why Uma Thurman would be on this list is out of default. Perhaps she is considered a Mexican citizen because her mother is one? Either way, that really DOESN’T make much sense.

If this gallery is based on appearance, you’re really stretching by having Edward James Olmos and Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite on the list. lol Also what’s Kobe’s wife doing on the list? She’s only famous for being cheated on by him.

You should have included more Mexican Americans from the sports world. An obvious omission is NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. Other athletes that could have been included are boxer/promoter Oscar de la Hoya, Paul Rodriguez Jr, who is one of the best pro skaters in the world, Olympic gold medalist softball player Jessica Mendoza or captain of the US national soccer team Carlos Bocanegra.
