Sports announcer Al Michaels was arrested in Southern California on suspicion of drunken driving, authorities said Sunday, April 21st.

Michaels was pulled over at about 9:30 p.m. Friday after officers manning a DUI checkpoint witnessed him make an illegal U-turn, Santa Monica police Sgt. Richard Lewis said.

(CBS NEWS) - Authorities say actor-comedian Kevin Hart has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after his black Mercedes nearly collided with a tanker trunk on a Southern California freeway.

California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs says Hart appeared intoxicated when he was pulled over before dawn Sunday on Highway 101 in Los Angeles.

John Clark Gable

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) —Legendary actor Clark Gable’s son was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run after he allegedly caused two crashes in Malibu.

John Clark Gable, 52, reportedly hit a car near the Malibu Pier and left the scene.

A short time later, he crashed his car into six parked vehicles east of the pier on Pacific Coast Highway, according to Sgt. John Skikas of the sheriff’s Malibu-Lost Hills station.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Actor Thomas Gibson has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in downtown Los Angeles.

CBS2′s Art Barron reports that Gibson was arrested about 1:37 a.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the intersection of 11th and Grand Avenue.

The Los Angeles Police Department — Traffic Division took the 50-year-old star into custody after he allegedly drove through a barricade that had been set up for the first-ever half-marathon “New Year’s Race — Los Angeles At Night.”

Glamour Magazine Salutes The 2004 "Women Of The Year"

ABC News veteran and former correspondent Sam Donaldson is facing a drunken driving charge in Delaware.

Police in the southern coastal town of Lewes say the 78-year-old Donaldson was stopped on Dec. 1 for a traffic violation. According to TMZ, officers said he was pulled over just before 8 p.m. after he had driven onto the shoulder of the road.

Police say the officer determined Donaldson had been drinking and gave him field sobriety tests.

Donaldson was arrested and later released.

Sally Struthers

(CBS/AP) Actress Sally Struthers has been arrested on charges of drunken driving in Maine.

Police say the 65-year-old was arrested early Wednesday morning after being pulled over on U.S. Route 1 in the southern Maine resort town of Ogunquit. She was charged with criminal operating under the influence and posted $160 bail.

Michael Madsen

(CBS/AP) Michael Madsen was arrested Wednesday, September 12th on suspicion of drunken driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, and was expected to spend the night in a hospital, authorities said.

It was the second arrest in six months for the "Reservoir Dogs" actor.

Randy Travis

Randy Travis, charged with driving while intoxicated in North Texas. The Grayson County Sheriff's Office said Travis was jailed without bond on Wednesday, August 8th, pending an appearance before a judge in Sherman, about 60 miles north of Dallas.

Sgt. Rickey Wheeler says Travis also faces a charge of retaliation or obstruction. Wheeler had no details on that count, but TMZ reports that Travis verbally threatened a cop during the arrest, according to law enforcement sources.

Wheeler says a Texas trooper arrested Travis, 53, around midnight Tuesday near Tioga, where the entertainer lives. Sources told TMZ that Travis was arrested on DWI after crashing his car, leaving him with minor cuts and bruises. Witnesses also told the site that Travis wasn't wearing any clothes when police arrived.

A Travis representative did not immediately reply to a message Wednesday from The Associated Press.

This is the country singer's second legal altercation this year. In February, he was charged with public intoxication after being spotted in a vehicle parked in front of a church in Sanger, about 20 miles from Tioga.

Jason Kidd

Jason Kidd, who recently signed a new three-year, $9 million deal with the New York Knicks, was arrested in Southampton for DWI early Sunday,July 15th.

CBS Station WCBS reports police confirmed the 39-year-old player struck a telephone pole with his Cadillac Escalade, and then drove into the woods just before 2 a.m.

After the accident, Kidd was taken to the local hospital for minor injuries, and then released to the police.

WESTMINSTER (CBS LOS ANGELES) — Porn star Jenna Jameson was arrested on suspicion of DUI after she crashed into a pole Friday morning, police said. Jameson, 38, hit a pole at Springdale Street and Westminster Blvd. at 12:45 a.m., according to the Westminster Police Department. She reportedly suffered minor injuries, but refused medical treatment. Jameson was booked on suspicion of DUI before being cited and released.

Matthew Fox

(CBS News) - Matthew Fox has had another run-in with the law. The actor was arrested for suspicion of driving while under the influence in Oregon on Friday, reports TMZ.


Sources tell TMZ that Fox, who now lives in Bend, Ore., with his family, had a passenger in the car when police stopped him at 3:23 a.m. He was reportedly on his way to a fast food restaurant when he was taken into custody. Fox was released later that day, according to TMZ.

In August 2011, the former "Lost" star was accused of punching a female bus driver in Ohio after he was denied entry to a private party bus. Although he wasn't officially charged, the bus driver has since filed a civil suit. Fox, meanwhile, filed a countersuit, alleging the bus driver punched him.

He'll appear next in the new Brad Pitt film "World War Z" and is also attached to "Emperor" with Tommy Lee Jones.

Amanda Bynes

(CBS News) Amanda Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Friday in Los Angeles, after sideswiping a police vehicle with her car.



The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department said in a press release that the actress was trying to pass a police car in her black BMW at approximately 3 a.m., when she ended up colliding with the vehicle.

"There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles," the statement continued. "Amanda Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff's Station."

Amanda Bynes

According to TMZ, the actress, who celebrated her 26th birthday on April 3, was still behind bars Friday morning. Bail has reportedly been set at $5,000.

(This is not the actress' first run-in with the law. She was also pulled over on March 7 for allegedly talking on her cell phone, and she reportedly drove away from the scene before the ticket was written. She was not arrested, TMZ reports, and she returned to the police station later in the day to sign her ticket.

LOS ANGELES (CBS SF/AP) – Officials in Southern California said Bobby Brown has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Harris says Brown was arrested around 12:20 p.m. Monday in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles. He failed a field sobriety test and was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Barkley was stopped by police Dec. 31, 2009 shortly after leaving a Scottsdale nightclub. He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. He had a blood-alcohol level of .149 percent, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 percent in Arizona when he was pulled over.

Avery Brooks

According to TMZ, 63-year-old Brooks, who played Benjamin Sisko on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," was arrested Janaury 29th in Wilton, Connecticut after someone complained he was driving erratically.


Cops pulled Brooks over and after a sobriety test he was arrested for DUI.

If convicted, Brooks could get 6 months in the pokey, although in most states first-time offenders end up with probation, and as far as we know Brooks has no priors. A rep for Brooks has no comment.

Orlando Brown

(CBS/KCBS) HOLLYWOOD - Actor-rapper Orlando Brown, known for his role on the TV show "That's So Raven," has been arrested on a DUI charge, according to police.

The 23-year-old actor was driving with his pregnant girlfriend at the time of the arrest late Friday (August 12th) night, CBS affiliate KCBS reports. According to TMZ, police stopped Brown's car in front of his home because it did not have a license plate. Once they approached the car, they found the detected the smell of alcohol. Police immediately administered a field sobriety test which they say failed.

Brown, who played Eddie Thomas on "That's So Raven," was booked at the Hollywood police station, reports KCBS. He was released after posting $15,000 bail Saturday morning.

Police say the 37-year-old Evans was arrested after being stopped at a DUI checkpoint in Marina del Rey.

She is the widow of rapper Christopher Wallace, also known as the Notorious B.I.G. Evans won a Grammy in 1998 for the song "I'll Be Missing You."

It was not immediately clear whether she was represented by an attorney. A phone message left with her agent, Marc Gerald, was not immediately returned.

Evans' plea was first reported by celebrity website TMZ.

NEW YORK (CBS) Actor Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, was charged with two misdemeanors Friday stemming from an October DUI arrest in Los Angeles, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

Glanville, who divorced Cibrian after his extramarital affair with country music star LeAnn Rimes, was reportedly pulled over for a traffic violation on Sunset Boulevard Oct. 29 and then arrested after she failed a field sobriety test, reports US Magazine.

According to the L.A. County District Attorney, the model/makeup artist is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving with a blood alcohol level above 0.08%, states TMZ.

"I messed up. I take full responsibility for my actions," she tweeted following the incident. "I regret my bad choice, and am thankful to God that no one got hurt. I'm sorry."

If convicted, Glanville could spend up to six months in jail and face a $1,000 fine.
