Celebrity DUI - Stars Under The Influence
The former Nickelodeon star was arrested by the California Highway Patrol around 4 a.m. Sunday in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. Jail records show Bynes was released hours later after posting $15,000 bail.
She is due to appear in court on the misdemeanor charge on Oct. 23, CBS Los Angeles reports.
The 28-year-old actress pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving in February and was sentenced to three years of probation. A phone message left for Bynes' attorney Richard Hutton was not immediately returned.
She received psychiatric treatment last year after authorities said she set a small fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks.
Bynes starred in her own Nickelodeon variety program, "The Amanda Show" and appeared in several movies, including "What a Girl Wants."

Chris Pine
BANKS PENINSULA, NEW ZEALAND (CBS NEWS) - Chris Pine, known for playing Captain Kirk in the "Star Trek" movies, has been charged with drunken driving in New Zealand. The 33-year-old American actor is due to make his first court appearance in the case on Monday, court officials said Wednesday, March 12th.New Zealand Police said in a statement that a 33-year-old American was charged March 1 with driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit, which in New Zealand is .08 percent. Police did not name the man, but said he was stopped during a routine early-morning check near the South Island town of Methven.
Pine's agent and publicist could not be reached for comment.

Todd Harrell
D'IBERVILLE, Miss. (CBS NEWS/AP) - Todd Harrell, a founding member and bassist for 3 Doors Down who was already facing a vehicular homicide case in Tennessee, was arrested Tuesday night on a DUI charge in Mississippi, according to police.Harrell was found "slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle" by officers responding to a citizen's call about an impaired driver, D'Iberville police Chief Wayne Payne told The Associated Press.
"On arrival our officers made contact with the driver and there were signs of his being impaired," Payne said.
Harrell was charged with a second-offense DUI involving a substance other than alcohol, Payne said, and police got a court order to take a blood sample from him.
"We don't know what the substance is at the time. We sent the sample on to the crime lab for testing," Payne said.

Chris Kattan
LOS ANGELES (CBS NEWS/AP) - Former "Saturday Night Live" star Chris Kattan has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after his Mercedes struck a Department of Transportation vehicle on a Southern California freeway, according to authorities.The California Highway Patrol says the Mercedes was seen weaving in and out of lanes shortly before 2 a.m. Monday, February 10th on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The CHP says Kattan drove into a DOT vehicle that belonged to a crew conducting maintenance on a guardrail. No injuries are reported.
The 43-year-old Kattan was jailed on suspicion of DUI. He was booked at the Van Nuys jail on $15,000 bond, CBS Los Angeles reports.

David Cassidy
EL SEGUNDO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities confirm they arrested 1970's pop icon David Cassidy Friday for reportedly driving under the influence near Los Angeles International Airport. A California Highway Patrol officer reportedly spotted Cassidy making an illegal right turn from the southbound 405 Freeway onto La Tijera Boulevard, where there’s a sign indicating “No Right Turn On Red,” according to the CHP.The 63-year-old actor, best known for his role in the hit 1970s sitcom “The Patridge Family,” was ordered to pull over. He parked the 2014 Chevrolet Impala he was renting on the side of Airport Boulevard.

Tito Ortiz
(CBS SF/AP) - Authorities say they have arrested former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz for investigation of driving under the influence after he hit a freeway median in Los Angeles.The California Highway Patrol says the 38-year-old Ortiz lost control of his vehicle about 3:50 a.m. Monday on Interstate 405 as he was driving his 2012 Porsche Panamera. Authorities say his car hit a concrete center median and his sports car had moderate damage.
Ortiz had two passengers in his car but no one was injured.
CHP says it was determined Ortiz was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest.
A message left for Ortiz's attorney, Ofir Ventura, was not immediately returned.

(CBS NEWS) - Actor Anthony Mackie has been arrested in New York City on a driving while intoxicated charge.Police in New York say the 35-year-old "Pain & Gain" actor was pulled over just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Harlem. They say he refused to take a Breathalyzer test to measure his blood alcohol level.
Mackie has appeared in numerous films, such as the Oscar-winning "The Hurt Locker," ''The Adjustment Bureau," and "Man on a Ledge."

Dina Lohan
NEW YORK (CBS NEWS) - Dina Lohan is facing a drunken driving charge in New York following a traffic stop on Long Island. State police say Lindsay Lohan's mother was stopped on Nassau County's Northern State Parkway at 11 p.m. Thursday after troopers clocked her driving at 77 mph in a 55 mph zone.Police say she had a blood alcohol concentration at 0.20 percent. That's more than twice the legal limit in New York.
Lohan was booked, issued tickets and then released. She's due in Nassau County 1st District Court on September 24.
Police say they called an ambulance and had medics examine Lohan. She complained she'd been hurt during the arrest. But they say no injuries were found.

Lamar Odom
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — NBA basketball star Lamar Odom was arrested early Friday morning, August 30th for misdemeanor driving under the influence.The former Los Angeles Laker and Clipper was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 3:54 a.m., according to jail records.
“One of our officers observed a white Mercedes SUV driving eastbound on the 101, approaching Sepulveda. The vehicle was weaving in the lanes, driving at approximately 50 miles per hour,” Officer Ming Hsu told KNX 1070.

David Cassidy
SCHODACK, N.Y. (CBS NEWS/AP) - Authorities say former teen heartthrob David Cassidy was pulled over for failing to dim his headlights in upstate New York and charged with DWI after tests showed his blood-alcohol content at .10, higher than the state's legal limit of .08.Schodack Police Lt. Joseph Belardo says Cassidy was stopped shortly after 12 a.m. Wednesday about 10 miles south of Albany.
The charge is a felony because the Cassidy has a 2011 conviction for driving under the influence in Florida. He lives in Fort Lauderdale but is staying in upstate New York for a horse racing meet in Saratoga.
The 63-year-old "Partridge Family" star is free on $2,500 bail. He's due in Schodack Town Court on Sept. 4.
Cassidy's publicist had no immediate comment.

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — Singer Miguel was arrested Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Marina del Rey for allegedly driving under the influence.A California Highway Patrol officer pulled Miguel Jontel Pimentel over just before 2:15 a.m. near Lincoln Boulevard and Mindanao Way, officials said.
The 27-year-old was allegedly driving fast in a BMW X6 that had dark tinted windows, according to CHP.
He was taken into custody and booked at the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

John Clark Gable
MALIBU (CBSLA.com) —Legendary actor Clark Gable’s son was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run after he allegedly caused two crashes in Malibu.John Clark Gable, 52, reportedly hit a car near the Malibu Pier and left the scene.
A short time later, he crashed his car into six parked vehicles east of the pier on Pacific Coast Highway, according to Sgt. John Skikas of the sheriff’s Malibu-Lost Hills station.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Actor Thomas Gibson has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in downtown Los Angeles.CBS2′s Art Barron reports that Gibson was arrested about 1:37 a.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the intersection of 11th and Grand Avenue.
The Los Angeles Police Department — Traffic Division took the 50-year-old star into custody after he allegedly drove through a barricade that had been set up for the first-ever half-marathon “New Year’s Race — Los Angeles At Night.”

ABC News veteran and former correspondent Sam Donaldson is facing a drunken driving charge in Delaware.Police in the southern coastal town of Lewes say the 78-year-old Donaldson was stopped on Dec. 1 for a traffic violation. According to TMZ, officers said he was pulled over just before 8 p.m. after he had driven onto the shoulder of the road.
Police say the officer determined Donaldson had been drinking and gave him field sobriety tests.
Donaldson was arrested and later released.

(CBS/AP) Actress Sally Struthers has been arrested on charges of drunken driving in Maine.Police say the 65-year-old was arrested early Wednesday morning after being pulled over on U.S. Route 1 in the southern Maine resort town of Ogunquit. She was charged with criminal operating under the influence and posted $160 bail.

(CBS/AP) Michael Madsen was arrested Wednesday, September 12th on suspicion of drunken driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, and was expected to spend the night in a hospital, authorities said.It was the second arrest in six months for the "Reservoir Dogs" actor.

Jason Kidd, who recently signed a new three-year, $9 million deal with the New York Knicks, was arrested in Southampton for DWI early Sunday,July 15th.CBS Station WCBS reports police confirmed the 39-year-old player struck a telephone pole with his Cadillac Escalade, and then drove into the woods just before 2 a.m.
After the accident, Kidd was taken to the local hospital for minor injuries, and then released to the police.

WESTMINSTER (CBS LOS ANGELES) — Porn star Jenna Jameson was arrested on suspicion of DUI after she crashed into a pole Friday morning, police said. Jameson, 38, hit a pole at Springdale Street and Westminster Blvd. at 12:45 a.m., according to the Westminster Police Department. She reportedly suffered minor injuries, but refused medical treatment. (CBS News) - Matthew Fox has had another run-in with the law. The actor was arrested for suspicion of driving while under the influence in Oregon on Friday, reports TMZ.Sources tell TMZ that Fox, who now lives in Bend, Ore., with his family, had a passenger in the car when police stopped him at 3:23 a.m. He was reportedly on his way to a fast food restaurant when he was taken into custody. Fox was released later that day, according to TMZ.
In August 2011, the former "Lost" star was accused of punching a female bus driver in Ohio after he was denied entry to a private party bus. Although he wasn't officially charged, the bus driver has since filed a civil suit. Fox, meanwhile, filed a countersuit, alleging the bus driver punched him.
He'll appear next in the new Brad Pitt film "World War Z" and is also attached to "Emperor" with Tommy Lee Jones.
Amanda Bynes
(CBS News) Amanda Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Friday in Los Angeles, after sideswiping a police vehicle with her car.The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department said in a press release that the actress was trying to pass a police car in her black BMW at approximately 3 a.m., when she ended up colliding with the vehicle. "There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles," the statement continued. "Amanda Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff's Station."

According to TMZ, the actress, who celebrated her 26th birthday on April 3, was still behind bars Friday morning. Bail has reportedly been set at $5,000.(This is not the actress' first run-in with the law. She was also pulled over on March 7 for allegedly talking on her cell phone, and she reportedly drove away from the scene before the ticket was written. She was not arrested, TMZ reports, and she returned to the police station later in the day to sign her ticket.
